Cedars-Sinai Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology in Beverly Hills, California

Advanced Practice Providers perform a vital

role in Cedars-Sinai Medical Group’s commitment to deliver effective and

efficient quality health care services. This dynamic position will provide support

for the Cardiology office. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) position offers

an opportunity to work closely with top clinical and research physicians

affiliated with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The NP will be providing care to primarily

inpatients with opportunities to assist with care transition to the outpatient

setting.

Unique aspects of the Cardiology NP position:

  • Developing expertise in the use of emerging

technologies in patient data acquisition.

  • Integrated patient care model within

multi-specialty group.

  • Daily use of handheld ultrasound

incorporated into clinical decision making.

  • Co-management of acute and chronic heart

disease patients.

  • Collaborative Physician team that supports

career growth.

Education:

  • Graduation

from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered

Nursing.

License/Certification:

  • Current

unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California.

  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate.

  • Furnishing number issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).

  • BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Experience:

  • Minimum

three (3) years clinical nursing experience in acute care setting.
