Essential Duties and

Responsibilities:

  • The Physician Assistant will independently obtain a relevant health and medicalhistory

  • Performsa physical examination based on age and history and dictates a progressnote if needed with the appropriate physicians

  • Performsand/or orders preventive and diagnostic procedures based on the patient’sage and history

  • The Physician Assistant will help the physicians provide screening,consultation and answers to incoming questions from referring physicians

  • Identifieshealth and medical risk factors

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate, AMA accreditedprogram;

License/Certification/Registration

Requirements:

  • Certification by theNational Commission of Physician Assistants

  • BLS from the American HeartAssociation

  • ACLS from the American HeartAssociation

Experience:

Must have one year of Primary Care Physician Assistant experience.
