As a Clinical

Nurse II, you will deliver direct care to assigned pediatric, adult and or

geriatric patients in an ambulatory setting. Nursing care is delivered using

standards of care by following approved policies and procedures.

You will work

in generally clean environment, but may have exposure to chemotherapy,

chemotherapy-contaminated waste, and infections materials including blood, body

fluids and possible communicable diseases. Work environment requires the use of

protective barriers, such as gowns, gloves, masks and goggles/protective face

shield to ensure protection. Tasks are Category I exposure to HBV/HIV.

Essential Duties:

  • Accessports, PICCs and central lines

  • Triagepatient phone calls

  • Coordinatecomplex oncology care

Education:

  • Graduateof an accredited nursing program required

License/Certification/Registration:

  • Current,unrestricted RN license in the state of California required

  • BLSfrom the American Heart Association required

  • OncologyCertified Nurse OCN desired

Experience:

  • Aminimum of 2 years of experience as an RN required

  • Oncologynursing experience preferred

  • Competencyin intravenous skills and vascular access device management required
