Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.

Summary of Essential Duties:

  • We are seeking an evening shift Per-Diem MR Technologist who works well in a large, fast-paced team environment with inpatient and outpatient cases that require a high degree of critical thinking.

  • The department runs 24/7 with rotations through various shifts as needed and a focus on weekend shifts.

  • This challenging role entails a high level of technical skill with a deep understanding of MR physics and protocol optimization.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited MRI Tech program required

License/Certification Requirements:

  • ARRT, CRT and Venipuncture certifications required

  • Advanced MR Certification preferred,

  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Siemens MR in a fast-paced MR facility preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in ACR ZONE IV environment required
