You will support the physicians and nursing staff in the delivery of health care by performing a variety of medically related tasks.

Cedars-Sinai has an immediate opening for a Clinical Partner for 5NE, a 32-bed coronary observation and medical telemetry unit. A friendly environment that offers challenges and continuing education in the state of the art of cardiology.

As a Clinical Partner, under the direction a licensed care giver, and after education and demonstration of competency, performs a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population.

  • You will assists patients with activities such as eating, walking and personal hygiene.

  • You will Records and reports vital signs, dispenses/retrieves bedpans, and removes urinary catheters.

  • You will maintain competency skills including the ability to provide care to special patient population sand patients with diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • You can identify the ability of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient to follow directions/instructions.

  • You can identify safety concerns in the age related population and institutes additional measures to provide a safe environment; and identify developmental milestones in the age related population.

  • You will demonstrate positive interpersonal skills when working with customers, taking responsibility for resolving problems or complaints.

  • You will contribute to team effort by completing assignments in a timely manner. Maintaining a productive and harmonious work environment, complying with safety standards and maintaining competency requirements.

  • You may have access to and enter the medication room to get supplies. May not open or remove anything from the medication refrigerator in that room.

  • You will demonstrates the ability to function in a fast paced, high volume "TEAM" environment with frequent interruptions.

  • You will improves the accuracy of patient identification: Uses two identifiers when transporting patient between units/departments.

  • You will reduces the risk of patient harm resulting from falls – observes patient for risk of falling and takes action to prevent patient falls.

  • You will reduce the risk of health care acquired infection by complying with current CDC hand washing guidelines and CSMC isolation policy.
