The Cedars-Sinai COACH program provides no-cost health and social services to under-served communities through Los Angeles. Two COACH mobile medical units travel to schools, shelters, public housing developments, and neighborhood facilities in communities across 28 Los Angeles zip codes, providing the highest quality care.

As a Per Diem Registered Nurse in our COACH Program you will positively impact the lives of under served child through out Los Angeles. Your work will truly make a difference every single day.

The Registered Nurse Registered Nurse will assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in community settings aboard the COACH Mobile Medical Units.

The COACH will provide immunization administration, urine specimen, fingerstick/venipuncture, TB placement/readings, patient/parent education, referrals to community agencies and patient follow-up; performs initial nursing assessment, triage and obtains medical history from patient/parent caregiver.

Per Diem availability needed weekdays and weekends.





  • A valid CaliforniaDriver's license

  • A valid Registered NurseLicense

  • CPR Certified


  • Bachelor of Science inNursing (BSN) from an accredited School of Nursing

  • Full command (verbal andwritten) of the English language

  • Bi-lingualEnglish/Spanish preferred

  • Demonstrates acommitment to customer service and the ability to meet the needs andexpectations of patients and health care colleagues


  • Minimum of two years’experience working with low-income/under served families in a community setting

  • Minimum of one-yearexperience working with pediatric patients

  • Demonstrates clinicalexpertise and technical skills for a general and specialty population

Physical Demands:

  • The physical ability andperceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patientcare functions.

  • Drive own car to/fromcommunity sites and provide health services on Saturdays and Sundays as needed

  • Ability to work in allweather conditions
