Job Summary:

Under

general direction, facilitates end-user meetings, and provides an advance level

of operational and application build expertise in completing the more complex

assignments to meet customer goals and desired outcomes. May lead projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Performs advanced level design, build and implementation assignments/projects. Based on deep knowledge of application and operational requirementscan translates complex requirement/concepts into functionality.

  2. Initiates, facilitates or leads meetings with end-user/business ownerand other EIS teams

  3. May be lead on team projects: translating customer needs, meetingdeliverables, status reporting and managing customer relationships andexpectations.

  4. Fills in on various work/projects in the absence of the Team Lead

  5. Identifies and works through team/work issues. Escalates team work issuesto Team Lead as needed

  6. Participates in re-engineering of operational work-flow processes withend-users/business owners.

  7. Facilitates end-user/business owner needs into system specifications andconfiguration requirements.

  8. Provides high-level expertise in design integration and touch pointswith other Epic modules and/or other applications.

  9. Leads work groups within the department or within project scope.

  10. Attends and represents unit on various Epic related committees (CCB,SFWG, OCD..)

  11. Assists Team Lead in developing project plans and details.

  12. Manage and coordinate the more advanced configuration and buildassignments/projects in collaboration with others.

  13. Provides on-call support during off hours

  14. As needed, participates innew employee interviews and the on-boarding process.

  15. May coach team members inapplication design, build, testing and other tasks; ensures adequatedocumentation is provided for support and end user training.

  16. May provide day-to-dayguidance to other team members ass needed

  17. Maydevelop and maintain on-call schedule and provide 2 nd level supportas needed.

On-Call:

May

be required to participate in after hours on-call support activities

Educational requirements and/orpreferences (Licensure, Registration,

Certification, Experience, Other):

  • Bachelor's degreein Nursing is required.

  • Typicallyrequires 4+ years of relevant work experience. Strongly prefer experienceworking with healthcare information management systems and clinical operationsexperience. Project management experience required.

  • Must be Epiccertified in relevant module.

  • Exceptionalattention to detail

  • Exceptional skillin working independently with minimal supervision and manage multiplepriorities

  • Exceptionalinterpersonal skills including oral and written communications

  • Excellentanalytical and problem solving skills

  • Exceptionalcritical thinking skills required

  • Troubleshoots effectivelyand provides recommendations
