What you will be doing in this role:
The Cardiac Sonographer Level I, assists in all procedures performed in the Non-Invasive Cardiac Laboratory (Echocardiography) and is a member of the Echo Laboratory. He/she provides a safe patient care environment. Has the responsibility and accountability for recording 2 Dimensional Echocardiograms/Doppler/Color Flow examinations using ultrasound equipment to provide data for diagnosis of heart ailments. Demonstrates proficiency in the performance of all procedures and competency in the use of all related ultrasound equipment and computers.
Educational Requirement :
- Graduate from a minimum of 2-year accredited ultrasound school
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skilled professional with a solid foundation in Echocardiography.
At least one (1) year of experience as a full-time sonographer
