What you will be doing:
The Epic HIM Analyst provides an intermediate level of operational/application build in completing routine and occasionally more sophisticated assignments to meet customer goals. Task and assignment focus are typically on medium to large projects, performing workflow analysis, build, and documentation in collaboration with internal and external team members.
Application Specialist for project implementation and support of Epic HIM and related clinical systems.
Works closely with a variety other EIS teams to conduct high-quality, high-service planning/implementation and support of information systems for oncology users.
Applies high-level clinical and revenue cycle knowledge/project management ideology/methodology to develop, manage, and implement project plans.
Will serve as a systems resource and consultant in the following activities, including but not limited to developing user specifications, clinical operation workflows, sophisticated application build/configuration, testing, and implementation; participating with project teams and end-users to develop/recommend design options; providing project team support, end-user training, and application maintenance/problem–resolution.
Participates in re-engineering of operational work-flow processes with end-users/business owners and maintains fundamental understanding of assigned departmental operations.
Manages navigation of migration paths, change control process/governance, and ticket management processes.
2+ years of Epic build/implementation experience. (preferred experience in HIM modules -DT, ROI, Coding, Identity)
3M, OnBase, & Care Everywhere experience preferred.
Project management experience. (highly preferred)
Solid grasp of Epic design, build, and implementation.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field. (preferred)
Epic Certification required. (HIM: Coding, Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information, and/or Identity preferred)
