Cedars-Sinai Fellowship Coordinator (Program/Project Coordinator) - Department of Anesthesiology in Los Angeles, California

As a Fellowship Coordinator (Program/Project Coordinator), you will work under the general supervision of the Associate Director or Manager, and the Medical Director of the Residency/Fellowship program, the coordinator is responsible for the coordination of a wide range of diverse administrative functions for one or more Residency/Fellowship Programs in the Department of Anesthesiology. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the training program and assists the Program Directors in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program, ensuring compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation standards, and compliance with institutional policies. In carrying out these duties, you will liaison with the Program Directors, trainees, faculty, the GME Office, participating sites, and other departments. In this role, you will need to possess excellent skills in organization, time management, attention to detail, interpersonal relations, prioritizing tasks, and the ability to work independently. Will oversee and coordinate application and interviews of program candidates, process application and prepare documentation in accordance with the GME requirements, ensure compliance with ACGME standards and competencies, prepare for internal site review and ACGME site visit, organize Resident / Fellows Educational curriculum, travel, meetings, didactic conference schedule, manage compliance and web based reporting for IRIS, New Innovation, Freida, and WebADS.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Training Administrators for Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) Certification is preferred

Experience:

  • Working experience as Medical Residency/Fellowship Coordinator highly preferred.

  • Experience in dealing with competing priority with multiple stakeholders

Physical Demands of the role include:

  • Lifting, standing and sitting for extended periods
