What you will bedoing in this role:


for leading a team of Analysts to support the data needs and integrity within

the Advancement Department. This role will have leadership responsibility in

project management and will work with staff, source data owners, information

technology and service staff, and data user customers from various departments

of the hospital. Plays an instrumental role in automating and building

reporting tools to increase efficiency. Responsible for submitting data for regulatory

reporting requirements.

  • Data Quality Incident Analysis &Management:

a. Triage incoming data quality incidents or inquiries to

the appropriate staff member.

b. Work with staff to track progress of data quality

incidents in the Incident database.

c. Work with data users/customers and data suppliers to

identify and resolve data quality issues by assessing their impact,

investigating root cause, and working with business data owners to identify and

implement solutions.

d. Integrates the use of information systems, databases,

and data analytic tools to analyze and solve data quality problems.

  • Exercises leadership responsibility inproject management to support major departmental processes.

  • Works with key customers to specify,develop, produce, and deliver on-time analytic reporting requests.Interacts with customer in a timely fashion to clarify needs sufficientlyto allow development of report specifications. Follows up with customersafter delivery to ensure need is met. Effectively interprets data andanalytic reports for customers.

  • Provides manager with project status updateson a regular basis. Basic parameters include volume, complexity,turnaround-time, subject, customer, analyst/programmer, re-work, errors,and ad hoc versus production. Contributes to the performance appraisals ofstaff members involved in above work processes.

  • In-charge of developing a quality controlprocess for data and reports built from data for customers.

  • Develops and implements validation steps toensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data analytic reportproduction as prioritized by leadership.

  • Responsible for developing analyticsolutions to improve efficiency, data quality, and timeliness ofreporting. Includes automating and building reporting tools to increaseefficiency.




degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Statistics or related

field is required. Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer

Science, Statistics, or related field highly preferred.



minimum of five years' prior work experience functioning in the role of a data

analyst and/or business analyst, including facilitation of performance

improvement projects and/or quantitative analysis/reporting of quality and

efficiency measurements required.


of one years’ experience leading a team of analysts to achieve project

objectives required.


minimum of one years' experience in health care or non-profit setting is



with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, other relational databases, SSRS/SSIS, SQL,

Python/R, data warehousing, ETL development, Tableau or other BI tools a plus.
