The Enterprise Information Services (EIS) team at Cedars-Sinai understands that true clinical transformation and the optimization of a clinical information systems implementation is fueled through the alignment of the right people, processes and technologies.
What will you be doing in this role?
Exemplifies excellence in the implementation of various imaging applications along with the integration of those systems. Performs modifications to existing applications that will effectively accomplish desired objectives. Provides the highest-level expertise in application support and integration as well as in understanding application touch points with related applications and systems. Meets deadlines and ensures continued progress toward assignment completion. Shares experience with other members of team. Provides team project portfolio oversight and may manage a large portfolio of projects throughout the project lifecycle and within scope and schedule. Performs and monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by the CSHS EIS. Interfaces with the various teams across CSHS departments and end user community regarding application support. Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Helps design and code new applications. Ensures the design and troubleshooting of interfaces is completed. Ensures the research and documentation of product requirements is completed. Ensures the development of product technical documentation is completed. Ensures the development and implementation of product test plans are completed. Guides and oversees the development and implementation of internal and client training programs to completion. Plans, structures, and monitors system implementation and support activities. Oversees and reports on work assignments and projects of assigned team members. Sets work priorities and assignments. Determines resolution and escalation of issues. Defines project objectives and oversees work activities of the team. Identifies and plan appropriate training and oversight of team members. Serves as the team’s primary point of contact and liaison with Cedars-Sinai managers and staff.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training.
Medical Technology or relevant license, preferred.
- CIIP, preferred
Minimum of (8) years relevant healthcare information systems experience.
Expert technical and functional knowledge of assigned information systems.
Experience in leading, supervising and developing teams.
Strong project management experience.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Exceptional skill in working independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills including oral and written communications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional critical thinking skills.
