Cedars-Sinai Mammography Support Specialist - Imaging in Los Angeles, California

As a Mammography Support Specialist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will assist escorting patients, prepares imaging equipment and the associated room, prepares the patient for the appropriate imaging exam, and advises the technologist, radiologist, and/or clinical team when the patient is ready for their exam. May assist the technical staff in implementation of new and/or changes in procedures and takes an active role in helping to maintain an effective and efficient workflow. You may also place reminder calls to patients and assists with scheduling, as needed. You will also perform all job duties with sensitivity and attention to the age and developmental issues of the patient population(s) served. Maintain competency skills including the ability to communicate with diverse cultural backgrounds, identify safety concerns and institute measures to deliver safe transportation.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED

License/Certification Requirements:

  • BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What else are we looking for?

  • 6 months in a clinical setting preferred
