Cedars-Sinai Management Assistant II in Los Angeles, California

Summary of Essential Job Duties:

Under general supervision of the Associate Director of the Heart Institute, the MAII provides administrative support to several faculty members. The MAII coordinates all administrative activities of the office, demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and problem solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities and functions. The MAII is responsible for managing complex calendars, scheduling sensitive meetings involving senior leadership, managing travel arrangements for outreach efforts and conferences, organizing and coordinating case conferences, sending out correspondences, compose and distribute meeting agenda and minutes, and perform other administrative duties. In addition, the MAII is also responsible to update faculty CVs, initiate license renewal for the faculty, and answer telephone calls, organize and prioritize work, and establish procedures and systems to ensure orderly and timely flow of business through the office.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED Required, Associate's Degree preferred

Experience:

Minimum of two years of administrative experience in the healthcare field.

Proficient in composing and editing professional memos, letters, and documents.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working with sensitive, high level matters.

Experience coordinating complex meetings, and schedules involving multiple providers

Must be able to utilize new technology to set up web conferences

Must have strong organizational skills, with ability to manage time sensitive deadlines.
