In this newly created Supply Chain role, you will have an opportunity to rotate through multiple departments of the organization, including several affiliated hospital locations, such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Marina Del Rey Hospital and Huntington Hospital. You will use your skills and resourcefulness to support projects in Strategic Sourcing, Data Analytics, Supplier Diversity, Resiliency and hospital operations. For the successful candidate, this role may lead to growth opportunities in our expanding health system. This is a fantastic opportunity to get first hand experience in the end-to-end supply chain.

Summary of Essential Duties:

  • Act as key liaison with units for assigned projects

  • Support fiscal responsibility through projects and operational roles

  • Management of staff to include scheduling, training, on temporary basis as part of the rotations

  • Lead process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the broader Supply Chain organization (i.e. – inventory optimization, service improvement, sourcing, workflow assessment and improvement, etc.)

  • Ensure all performance measures are actively managed and continuously improved – as assigned

  • Collaboratively develop the rotation program with key stakeholders across the health system

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

License/Certifications:

  • Supply Chain or Project Management certification preferred, such as Six Sigma, PMP or APICS

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain management/operations experience required

  • Experience in an acute care facility preferred
