Cedars-Sinai MRI Department Assistant - Imaging in Los Angeles, California

As a Department Assistant in our Advanced Health Science Pavilions, you will help assist and coordinate in Dept of Imaging outpatient center. Will answer phones and coordinate patient flow. Will keep patient tracking board updated for all modalities. Will do data entry. Will prepare rooms and patients for exams. Will help position patients on scanners. Will float between areas. May be called upon to transport occasionally to and from the hospital or ED. Will maintain dept cleanliness and inventory. Will help with ultrasound probe sterilization. Will also help prepare CT patients to include EKG.

Must be great communicator and have high level customer service skills. Applicant must be well organized with superior attention to detail and have good critical thinking skills, Has prior history of demonstrating aptitude to learn new processes and learn specialized equipment. Must work well in a busy team environment and be very good at multi-tasking. Will be scheduled to work based on dept needs to include weekends


HS diploma. Some college preferred


BLS by American Heart Association


Some hospital experience preferred. Computer skills a must
