Cedars-Sinai Occupational Therapist II - Acute Therapy - Per Diem in Los Angeles, California

As a per diem Occupational Therapist in Acute Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will assist in performing evaluations, demonstrate appropriate treatment interventions and strategies &Complete discharge planning for patients.
The Therapist-Per Diem is considered employed on an at-will basis with no guarantee of scheduled hours. Scheduling is done based on staffing need and availability. The Therapist-Per Diem staff member is expected to be available a minimum of 16 hours per month.
Graduate of an ACOTE accredited OT program or equivalent
Valid and current license as an OT in the state of California
Valid and current CPR certification: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing therapist and evidence of ability to perform at this level. A minimum of two years experience in acute care. Working experience with an electronic healthcare record preferred.
Able to push, pull, lift up to 100 lbs on an intermittent basis; able to bend,stoop, sit, stand and walk without restrictions.
