Facilitate sophisticated projects and design challenges of varying scope to achieve the organization's mission and goals and to ensure compliance with accreditation, licensing and regulatory requirements.

Support senior staff in the preparation, facilitation and follow-up of improvement team meetings. You will compile and create graphical displays of data, develop presentations and use your project management skills to ensure goals are achieved on a timely basis:

  • Apply broad range of Performance Improvement tools and methodologies successfully (for example, Six Sigma) to solve problems.

  • Effectively create and utilize relationships to facilitate change

  • Apply rigorous analytical skills

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of qualitative and quantitative statistics

  • Identify, develop, and implement standards to measure process, performance, and opportunity

  • You will provide concise reports (written or verbal) of activities and results

  • Ensure integrity of data sets and data elements through routine and systematic procedures

  • Independently generate process maps and flow charts and conduct observation for the purposes of collecting data and establishing the current state

  • Demonstrate the use of advanced statistics (e.g. linear regression models)

  • Be a subject matter expert including research and standard methodologies (regulatory guidelines)

  • Focus on meeting the needs of internal and external customers: You will seek and respond to customer feedback, and maintain effective relationships with customers

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree with coursework or background in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, business, science, engineering) required. Masters Degree in a quantitative field preferred.

  • Minimum: Two (2) years of progressive responsibility in the application of process improvement, statistical process control methodologies, and independent facilitation of process improvement teams. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills, and advanced statistics (e.g. linear regression models). Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively and independently. Demonstrates effective communication at all levels of the organization.

  • Preferred Two (2) years of work experience in an acute health care setting and knowledge of health care regulations, accreditation, and licensing requirement
