Working independently but in close cooperation and in consultation with Dr. Sati, our Postdoctoral Fellow will lead cutting-edge neuroimaging research with the goal of discovering and validating innovative imaging biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of various neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27834394/
As a Postdoctoral Scientist, you will work with MRI physicists, biomedical engineers, neuroradiologists and neurologists to develop, validate and deploy ultra-fast magnetic susceptibility-based MRI techniques in a clinical research setting. You will have access to state-of-the-art 3T clinical scanners, and a cutting-edge 3T research scanner at the Biomedical Imaging Research Institute (BIRI). Will also collaborate with the National Institute of Neurological Disorders to investigate these MRI techniques on ultra-high field (7T) scanners.
Additional duties and responsibilities will include:
Will develop, adapt, and implement innovative magnetic-susceptibility based MRI techniques for neuroimaging.
Will design and perform imaging experiments in human research subjects.
Will process, analyze, interpret, summarize and compile data.
