About the Team

Our mission in the Division of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) at Cedars-Sinai is to use AI to help solve existing gaps in mechanisms, diagnostics, risk assessment and therapeutics of major human disease conditions. The division consolidates artificial intelligence, clinical validation, and innovation under one umbrella. Using a disease-based approach enables cross-disciplinary connections among clinicians, scientists, and trainees on multiple levels.

About the Role

The Program/Project Coordinator provides strategic support to a mid to large scale, recognized organizational program/project by coordinating all operations for the assigned program or project to facilitate the effective management of programs/projects according to organizational standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and maintains applicable program/project schedules and agendas including tracking deadlines, deliverables, and communication with management and/or collaborators.

  • Works with other departments, staff, leaders and/or other partners.

  • Provides coordination of applicable logistics or information as advised by leadership.

  • Organizes and coordinates the development of all featured events, outreach activities, meetings, and materials/collateral.

  • May actively represent the program and/or the organization.

  • Helps foster a collaborative and positive relationship building dynamic with internal staff and external parties.

  • May be responsible for providing any applicable education, training, on-boarding and/or mentorship pertaining to program/project.

  • Supports the development and management of program/project budgets.

  • Maintain and tracks all supporting budget/financial files and documents.

  • Responsible for creating reports for management in the evaluation of the program/project performance or day-to-day operations.

  • May also be responsible for documenting and tracking program/project compliance.

  • May provide feedback to management and make recommendations regarding program/project operations and/or procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 3 years of progressively responsible administrative or strategic support experience is required.

Additional Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

  • 3 years of organizational program or project coordination/support experience, preferred.

Physical Demand:

Able to perform moderate lifting. Able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Able to read papers and online documents. Able to operate standard office equipment. Able to exercise physical ability and perspective acuity to satisfactorily perform essential job functions.
