Job Description
At Cedars-Sinai, we don't treat all cancers the same. There are more than 20 cancer centers, programs or specialized services that specialize in treatment and groundbreaking research into specific forms of cancer. These centers and programs provide patient centered care and innovative diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures. At the Department of Radiation Oncology, our Oncologists, Therapists and staff work together to design custom treatment plans for specific cancer diagnoses. This ensures the patient will more quickly feel normal, with minimal impact on healthy tissues from the effects of radiation.
Summary of Essential Duties:
Develops plans to complete assigned projects, including identification and communication with key stakeholders, task management, determining or recommending solutions, and managing timeliness of deliverables.
Coordinates and prepares a wide-range of information including data pull/validation, material compilation and partnering with internal resources and/or external vendors on timely completion of key deliverables .
Tracks, monitors, and follows the progress of project plans, department goals and action items as determined by department leadership. Prepares appropriate briefing materials.
Establishes meeting agendas.
Assists in managing department’s operational and capital budgets. Provide administrative leadership in the development of annual budget and in tracking through the course of the year. Provides regular information and recommendations to department leaders regarding spend vs. budget, variances, and expected adjustments. Design and carry out processes to ensure that leadership have the right financial information to set goals, make decisions, and monitor performance.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of office management and administrative experience required
