Cedars-Sinai Receiving Clerk - Central Issues - Full Time - Days in Los Angeles, California

Summary of Essential Job Duties:

Under the direction of the Manager and Team Leaders, the receiving clerk is responsible for receiving incoming material in accordance with established procedures. Performs all functions related to outbound shipping of material. Also responsible for routing and delivering equipment or supplies to departments or other campus facilities. Standing and walking majority of the work day on a cement floor, picking medical supplies from bin locations, and perform other related duties as assigned or required

Educational Requirements:

•High school education or equivalent.

•Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

•Ability to communicate with customers and management, both verbally and written.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:



•One year of manufacturing or hospital receiving experience.

Physical Demands:

Standing and walking majority of the work day on a cement floor.

Exposure to material handling equipment.

Bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Exposure to moderate temperature variations due to exposed dock area.
