We are doing cutting edge surgeries involving high tech equipment, robotics, and image guidance system. Cedars Sinai OR nurses coordinate care for patients undergoing general or awake craniotomy, bariatric surgery, cardiothoracic, spine, and orthopedic trauma. We are a level one trauma center with 26 operating rooms.

We are also a Multi-Organ Transplant Center and OR Nurses can be part of specialty team involving living donor liver transplant, kidney-pancreas and heart-lung transplant. We have a collaborative team involving Specialty Technologists such as Anesthesia, Endoscopic, Orthopedic, Spine, and Image Guided Systems, as well as Advance Practice Nurses.

Educational Requirements:

  • BSN preferred

License/Certification Requirements:

  • Valid CA Registered Nurse License

  • American Heart Association BLS


  • Two (2) years in acute hospital setting preferred

  • One (1) operating room experience required.
