Cedars-Sinai Registered Nurse -ED UR 12 hour - Days in Los Angeles, California
Job Summary:
To provide case management services in collaboration with physicians, CSMC staff, and the Emergency Department. Primary services include providing consultation regarding patient classification determination (inpatient or observation); recommend alternatives to admission (non-acute resources, alternative levels of care); work with the healthcare team to achieve optimal clinical, financial, and patient satisfaction outcomes; identifies and intervenes when plan variances occur; identifies practice patterns and quality issues that arise; initiates transition of care for patients who will be managed by the inpatient case managers on patient care units.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Minimum Required
Master's Degree - Preferred
Licenses:
RN State License - Minimum
Certified Case Management RN
Experience:
3 years - in acute nursing experience - Required
3 years - Emergency Department Case Manager experience preferred
