Cedars-Sinai Registered Nurse II - Interventional Radiology in Los Angeles, California

As a Clinical

Nurse II, you will assume responsibility and accountability for the application

of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a procedure setting.

You can look forward to using all of your clinical knowledge regarding

standards of care. We are looking for a motivated, creative

nurse that can serve as a catalyst for continuous effective change in this

current healthcare environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Thisposition is 100% procedure focused

  • Responsiblefor room efficiency

  • Takecharge of patient triage

  • Performpatient and room prep

  • Confirmand post procedure calls

  • Overtimeas needed to finish end of day backlog

  • Willrotate call

Education:

  • Graduateof an accredited nursing program required

  • BSNpreferred

License/Certification/Registration:

  • Current,unrestricted California RN license required

  • ACLSand PALS from the American Heart Association required

Experience:

  • Aminimum of 1 year of Imaging nursing experience required

  • InterventionalRadiology experience preferred

  • Willalso consider ICU, ED, Cath lab or similar care level of experience

  • Abilityto read EKG's and monitor sedated patients of all ages

  • Highlevel proficiency in IV placement
