Cardiovascular Intervention Center is a core element of the Smidt Heart
Institute, performing more than 8,000 procedures a year. The department serves
the populations of neonates to and including geriatrics. In this
seven-laboratory facility, we perform a wide range of diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures for coronary artery disease, heart muscle function and
heart valve dysfunction.
As a Clinical
Nurse IV (CNIV), you will be an expert clinician who demonstrates a high level
of knowledge and skill in Cardiovascular Preop/PACU as well as general nursing.
You can look forward to consistently demonstrating excellence in all areas of
nursing practice, including nursing care delivery, staff education, research,
and collaboration. You will manage complex, unpredictable patient care
situations and be a highly respected nursing shift leader. In addition, you can
count on being a knowledgeable clinical and operational resource to the nursing
staff, the unit, the organization, and the community to champion the
advancement of nursing.
Current,unrestricted California RN license required
ACLSfrom the American Heart Association required
SpecialtyCertification preferred (or willing to obtain within one year of startdate)
- Aminimum of 5 years of nursing experience within a preop/PACU area required
