Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse IV for our OR. A friendly environment that offers challenges and continuing education.
You are an expert clinician who demonstrates a high level of knowledge and experience in a specialty as well as general nursing.
You will consistently demonstrate excellence in all areas of nursing practice including nursing care delivery, staff education, research, and collaboration.
You will manage complex, unpredictable patient care situations and are a nursing leader.
You serve as a resource to the nursing staff, the unit, the organization, and the community to promote the advancement of nursing.
You demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegations of tasks, documentation and oversee care for the delivery team.
You demonstrate a dedication of customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues. You demonstrate leadership through initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- BSN or higher from an accredited school of nursing
California State RN License required
American Heart Association BCLS, ACLS certifications required
Specialty Certification required. Externals will have 1 Year to obtain.
Minimum of five (5) years acute RN experience including three (3) years experience in specialty area preferred.
Demonstrates dedication to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and healthcare colleagues.
Has maintained satisfactory Clinical Nurse III status for a minimum of one (1) year

Manual finger dexterity and fine motor skills with eye-hand coordination
Frequent standing, walking, twisting (trunk, neck), bending (waist), flexing/extending/stretching (extremities and trunk)
Occasional sitting, gripping/grasping, reaching below shoulder level, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, squatting
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull at least 100 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
