What you be doing in this role:

The Senior Major Gifts Officer will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective donors and partners to maintain and expand financial support of Cedars-Sinai. They will be responsible for working with an assigned portfolio of donors, prospects, and selected leaders and/or faculty to advance the mission of the organization.

The Senior Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for strategic ownership and optimization for an assigned geographic territory or specific area(s) and/or program(s) within the Medical Center and its affiliates, including the development, implementation and execution of fundraising efforts. The Sr. Major Gifts Officer is expected to maintain high volume of significant donor relationships, meaningful contact, and solicitation. They will work with a defined portfolio of donors, prospects, and selected leaders and/or faculty to advance the mission of the organization.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare, or a related field required.

  • A minimum of five years of fundraising or related experience in a medical healthcare facility required. Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding at major gift levels. Working knowledge of deferred vehicles and community/philanthropic resources.
