Cedars-Sinai Therapy Aide II - Acute Therapy - Part Time in Los Angeles, California

Part time position:
Days needed are Friday - Sunday (20 hours).
As a Therapy Aide II in the Acute Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will provide supportive services. Patient care related tasks include equipment set up and assisting the therapist during therapy interventions. Non-patient care related tasks include but are not limited to maintenance of equipment and supplies, assisting with early morning scheduling of patients, and clerical duties.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
Work experience in a therapy setting preferred.
Able to push, pull, lift or carry 0-100 pounds independently or with assistance on an intermittent basis;
Able to hand, walk, bend, squat consistently.
Able to assist patients with physical activities such as transfers, bed mobility, ambulation and self-care.
Able to identify need for and obtain assistance to maintain safe technique.
