Cedars Sinai Medical Care Foundation is a Medical Group that has 63 practice medical offices located throughout Los Angeles and growing. There are 636 health care providers, specializing in Qualified Audiologist, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Hospitalist and more. Medical taxonomies which are covered include Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery, Registered Nurse, Gynecology, Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Surgery, Clinical, Nuclear Radiology, Psychiatry, Neurology and many more.

Our Urgent Care Centers in Culver City and Playa Del Rey keep extended hours seven days a week. The Clinical Supervisor, Operations will support the physician and clinical staff in the delivery of health care by performing operational oversight responsibilities, human resource responsibilities, as well as patient care assessments, and a variety of medically related tasks. The Supervisor works in an administrative role in an ambulatory care setting and performs both administrative duties and clinical services as needed or requested.

This position offers a 10-hour shift schedule that includes weekday evenings, weekends and some holidays, overseeing locations in Culver City and Playa Del Rey, with coverage at other locations, as needed.

11:30am - 10:00pm Weekdays

8:30am - 7:00pm Weekends

Summary of Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates all administrative (back office) clinical functions of the medical practice(s).

  • Assists in the development, review, and revision of standard operating policies and procedures in collaboration with senior management.

  • Oversees and maintains necessary staff certifications and licensing requirements.

  • Oversees, and as necessary, performs administrative functions as needed, which can include answering and triaging telephone calls for patient care matters, functioning as a liaison between physicians, patients and staff, chart preparation for clinical care, and assisting with front office functions.

  • Controls wage and non-wage expenses, including pharmacy and medical supplies.

  • Works in a collaborative role with the management team, staff and physicians in the clinical practices, as well as related departments throughout the organization.

  • Function as key point person in research, setup and implementation of new procedures, workflows, and equipment.

  • Assess workflow of suite MA and schedule accordingly, covering absences, illnesses, and breaks.

  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.

  • Appraising performance and assist in staff development.


  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required (LVN or RN)


  • Current, unrestricted California RN or LVN license required

  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required


  • 3 years of nursing experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department preferred
